Case studies - Radio Studio
Kerrang! Radio
Location : Birmingham, West Midlands
A new radio station for Birmingham and a ground breaking venture for parent company Emap - Kerrang! is a new breed of station specialising in heavy metal and rock music.
Whilst existing air conditioning was provided by the landlord, the client required specialist air conditioning systems to serve the studios, production areas and equipment rooms.
Our solution was to install a single Mitsubishi City Multi R2 series variable refrigerant volume system with heat recovery.
An innovative feature of the system was the use of the latest Mitsubishi G50 controller the first of its kind in the industry to utilise Internet Technology, enabling control functions to be easily carried out via the clients desktop PC's.
