Mobile Air Conditioning Equipment
Background
As a professional installer of air conditioning systems we have always avoided the use of portable air conditioners because most portables have:
- inadequate cooling capacity
- they require the periodic emptying of a condensate tank
- inefficient operation because they discharge cooled room air to outside
Up to now most portables have been no more than toys, with many clients being totally dissatisfied with the results. Those portables on the market with adequate cooling capacity were so expensive that an installed split system could often be the cheaper option.
However for 2005 we have sourced a unique design of portable with a man sized cooling capacity.
It's the only one we sell - any smaller cooling capacity models are usually a waste of money - so buyer beware.
Professional Mobile CPM38CM
The Professional Mobile CPM38CM is an ultra high performance monoblock (one piece) air conditioning unit with several unique features:
- genuine verified 3.8 kW(13,000Btu/h) cooling capacity
- twin condenser air inlet and outlet hoses for maximum efficiency
- internal condensate lift pump - no bottles or tanks to empty
Perfect for use in small server rooms, domestic and office applications, the unit is one of the most powerful air conditioning units available in a monoblock format.
Hot air is carried away from the unit to discharge to outside by a 1.5m
long flexible hose. A second 1.5m long flexible hose is provided to allow
outside air to be drawn into the unit. Flat end terminations are provided
which can be jammed in a window or door opening as required.
All air conditioning units remove humidity from the air, and this condensate water has to be removed. Unlike most other machines, the Professional Mobile has an automatic pump which discharges the water to outside via a small flexible tube which can be taken through the exhaust hose.
The Professional Mobile is fitted with robust electro mechanical controls with a choice of fan speeds, a thermostat with a range of 18 to 32 degC, and a timer. Four castors are fitted to allow the unit to be wheeled from room to room if required.
The Professional Mobile has a 12 month RTB warranty.
